Ruhul Amin Tarek

Ruhul Amin Tarek is a visual artist whose work is deeply rooted in the cultural and spiritual heritage of Sunamganj, Bangladesh. A graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, with a specialization in Printmaking, Tarek focuses on the human figure as a vessel to explore complex emotional and philosophical themes.

Inspired by the mystical wisdom of Baul philosophy, his art is a reflection of the soul’s quest for freedom. Through layered textures, intricate lines, and evocative forms, Tarek creates works that invite introspection, offering viewers a space where art becomes a mirror for self-realization and spiritual exploration.

The natural beauty of Sunamganj and the soulful teachings of its Baul mystics continue to inform Tarek’s creative vision. His compositions balance tradition and contemporary expression, resonating with both personal narratives and universal truths.

By weaving together body and spirit, past and present, Ruhul Amin Tarek’s art celebrates the enduring human pursuit to understand oneself and transcend through artistic expression.
