
Azizee Fawmi Khan is a visual artist and independent curator based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Her work explores personal heritage, legacy, and the cultural complexities of Bangladesh, often through collaborations with local artists. Azizee’s practice primarily focuses on drawings and paintings on paper and canvas. She completed her MFA in Drawing and Painting at the University of Dhaka and held her first solo exhibition, “Ka’ -Shommondhiyo”, at La Galerie, Alliance Française de Dhaka in 2021.
She was also a participating artist in Documenta Fifteen in Germany in 2022, representing Britto Art Trust. Her exhibition history includes Artists Make Space in the UK and Bangladesh, the 18th Asian Art Biennale in Dhaka, and several projects with organizations such as Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, EMK Center, Kala Kendra, Brihatta Art Foundation, Edge Gallery, Dhaka and British Council, Tara Theatre, London and Rebel Creatives, Birmingham.
